The journal was established in 2014. The journal's full text is available online at http://www.jpcc.org.in, which allows free access (Open Access) to its contents and permits authors to self-archive the final accepted version of the articles on any OAI-compliant institutional / subject-based repository. The main aim of the journal is to publish research articles, case reports, review articles, editorials related to the field of Pediatric critical care to spread the knowledge amongst Pediatricians, intensive care fellows, Pediatric intensivists, academicians, and allied health care personnel in the field of Pediatric critical care. It is a very popular journal among the Pediatricians and Pediatric Intensivists of the Indian subcontinent. The journal assures four to six weeks of the peer review process and accepted articles are published within two months of acceptance.
